Date Night is a date-plan-first app where hosts create date plans with a venue, time, and activity, and guests can request to join. Every request starts with a real plan, not an open-ended person card. The host selects one guest, and chat opens only after the selected guest confirms.
Tap the "Host" tab, choose a category (dinner, coffee, adventure, etc.), pick a venue, set a date and time, and add a description. Your date plan will appear in Plans for eligible guests to review.
Browse Plans, find a date plan you like, and tap "Request to Join." You can add a personal note to your request. The host reviews requests and may select one guest; if you are selected, you confirm before chat opens.
You can report or block a user from attendee details, date plans, map/list venue views, conversations, and message menus. Reports are reviewed promptly, typically within 24 hours. Blocking hides that user's attendee details, date plans, and conversations from your Date Night experience.
No. Your location is not requested, displayed, or shared with other users. Every in-app venue map requires a manual tap to reveal venue pins, and date details may show the selected venue name for the plan.
Go to Me > gear icon > Account Management > Delete Account. The confirmation includes Manage Subscription so you can review or cancel Apple billing before deleting. Deletion permanently removes your attendee details, date plans, confirmed date-plan chats, and messages, subject to limited legal and safety retention exceptions in our Privacy Policy.
Date Night offers optional Premium subscriptions for unlimited hosted date plans through the App Store. Premium unlocks digital app features only; it does not include reservations, tickets, meals, or venue bookings. It also does not include transportation, gifts, or other offline goods or services. Date-cost labels and venue budget estimates are planning-only; Date Night does not collect, transfer, or process date-cost payments between users. All subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. You can cancel anytime in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Date Night account does not cancel your subscription.
We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell personal information, and your location is never shown to other users. See our Privacy Policy in the app for full details.
Always meet in public places. Tell a friend where you're going. Use the in-app safety checklist before every date. If you feel unsafe, contact someone you trust or local emergency services directly. Report suspicious behavior from attendee details, date plans, or chat menus.
